Unwanted material such as rubbish or other materials will be removed from the mix it happen to be in by a combinatio­n of equipemnt and manual labour.

It will then be sorted and placed with other recyclable waste of the same type, compressed and baled. Shredded and washed to remove labels, dirt and debris. They are then cut into small chips. Melted at about 240°C to produce plastic strands that are chopped into pellets Sold to companies that turn them into a variety of different products

• Fibres for clothing and carpets

• Automotive battery cases

• Gardening tools like shovels and watering cans

• Shipping pallets
