THE BLOGGER/INFLUENCER @Bosfinesse aka Oscar Bostock
Oscar Bostock is a plasterer by day, but by night he becomes Bosfinesse and tours his home city of Bristol in search of the tastiest foods.
The rising social media star only champions independent places, and his funny style makes him instantly watchable. There’s a serious side, too: when one local cafe-by-day, restaurantby-night announced it was shutting its evening oering because of soaring prices due to the cost-of-living crisis, Oscar made a rallying cry for everyone to support their local independent food businesses. After leaving school with no GCSES, Oscar had wanted to get into the music industry, but his parents wanted him to get a ‘proper job’. “I’m glad they did to be honest,” says Oscar, “as they laid the groundwork for what I’m doing now.
“They’re really proud. Especially Mum – she’s over the moon and tells her friends about what I’m doing, which is really lovely.
“Growing up, Dad took us to try loads of dierent cuisines. My friends and I would watch Youtube food videos and try to cook things ourselves. That’s all led to here.”
