Bang & Olufsen is unabashed about paying attention to trends. The company releases its collections seasonally – Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter – like a fashion brand. “We see ourselves as a luxury lifestyle brand,” says Anders Buchman, Senior Go-To-Market Manager at B&O. “Our products are designed to last, but we also want to address what’s current in the world,” he says. B&O’s latest release is the revolutionary Beosound Edge speaker designed by Michael Anastassiades (read more about the collaboration at indesignlive.sg). It features an inventive sound gesture that allows the user to adjust the volume of the speaker by rolling it side to side. Beosound Edge is included in B&O’s limited-edition Bronze Collection, which is available in store only until December 2019.
