Bang & Olufsen is unabashed about paying attention to trends. The company releases its collection­s seasonally – Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter – like a fashion brand. “We see ourselves as a luxury lifestyle brand,” says Anders Buchman, Senior Go-To-Market Manager at B&O. “Our products are designed to last, but we also want to address what’s current in the world,” he says. B&O’s latest release is the revolution­ary Beosound Edge speaker designed by Michael Anastassia­des (read more about the collaborat­ion at indesignli­ve.sg). It features an inventive sound gesture that allows the user to adjust the volume of the speaker by rolling it side to side. Beosound Edge is included in B&O’s limited-edition Bronze Collection, which is available in store only until December 2019.
