Essential lines, a strong natural appearance and a simple personality are the hallmarks of the Lapis outdoor chair from Varaschin. In Italian, lapis means ‘pencil’ and it’s not hard to see the connection with that ubiquitous tool in the chair’s slender structural lines. Calvi Brambilla’s design favours an emphasis on each material – certified solid teak for the frame and a powdercoated aluminium or upholstered plywood shell.
