Material Muses

Admira’s Master and Muse collection for 2019 takes inspiration from the world’s design masters and their affinity with the materials, patterns and colours that have proved inspirational to them. Words once uttered by Tadao Ando, Kengo Kuma, MC Escher, Thomas Heatherwick and Jessica Walsh appear in the catalogue. It’s a diverse group of creative people that hints at the way laminate designs are grouped in the collection – Solid, Mineral, Wood, Pattern and Collection (the latter focusing on designs that are less mainstream). Pictured above are two new designs from the Wood range: Scandic Cherry (left) and Light Bamboo Grove (right). Since 2019, Admira’s surface products have been certified by the Singapore Environment Council under the Singapore Green Label Scheme for having low levels of toxicity for an improved indoor environment. Admira’s laminates are easy to maintain, durable, waterproof, and highly resistant to scratches and stains.
