Deceptively Simple

The point where the turned solid-wood leg of Flexform’s Gustav table joins the tabletop looks effortless. But this seemingly simple detail requires a complex construction technique that remains entirely out of sight. Gustav was designed by Carlo Colombo and is available in round and rectangular versions, as well as several sizes and formats (table, coffee table, side table and console). A number of material combinations are available, which allow the character of the table to be tailored. The structure is available in solid Canaletto walnut or ash, stained in a number of tints; and there is a choice of marbles for the top – White Carrara, Nero Marquina, Calacatta Gold or Emperador.
