Replacing the quintessential office receptionist is a ‘digital human’ named AIMe – short for ‘Artificial Intelligence Me’. AIMe appears on a screen to greet clients as they arrive at the Experience Centre and answer their queries. The system is powered by Soul Machines but was built by the Experience Centre team. Soul Machines is a New Zealand-based company that aims to develop life-like, emotionally responsive artificial humans with personality and natural expressions.
