Built Form As Art Form

-

The client, Onward Holdings, requested a design that would enhance the company’s value, and at the same time, resonate with the value of art. Kashiyama Daikanyama was thus developed with ‘purpose and content’. The hill analogy is furthered with a detailed approach to material surfaces that sees brings dimension to otherwise flat surfaces and forges relationships between zones.

Traversing the various floors, one is treated to a delicate buffet of materials that is nonetheless pared down, like an enticing kaiseki meal.
