Rather than the white walls that are typical of galleries, colour defines each alcove. “I think the colour makes you see things in a different way. For many years, Fritz Hansen has used colour to provoke feelings, to affect how we feel in a space. In this store, we tried to create a very different mood each time we used a [different] colour, but we were always creating a contrast with the peacefulness of the white in the central plaza,” says Jaime Hayon.
