Among the novelties presented by Cassina at the IMM Cologne fair this year was the brand’s first complete outdoor collection. Rodolfo Dordoni captured the spirit of 1950s holiday resorts with his Sail Out modular sofa, which is joined by a circular pouf (pictured). The Sail Out collection is reminiscent of the soft shape of inflatable canvas mattresses, but offers the visual elegance you’d expect of Cassina thanks to sartorial details such as contrasting borders. Comfort is assured by the memory foam in the SoloSoff® material used for the padding. The pouf is available in two sizes. Its triangular segments converge at a central hidden hole that allows water to drain through. In Singapore, Cassina is available at Space Furniture.
