Having been founded in 1945 by Giuseppe Ostuni, Oluce is the oldest Italian lighting design company still in operation today. Ostuni worked with a number of master designers in his early years of business, including Renato Forti. That collaboration produced a lamp that has as much design currency today as it did nearly 70 years ago. 1953 is a classic mid-century design reissued by Oluce last year. It is produced for the floor and table with a cylindrical shade, base and stem grip in black. These contrast vividly with the gold stem and shade interior. In Singapore, Oluce is available from P5.
