Sculptural Ensemble
There’s a sense of subtle subversion at work in Zanotta’s Olivia armchair. The design by Constance Guisset presents a sculptural ensemble in which the timber legs appear to pierce and pinch the curving seat and backrest elements. The padding and upholstery of the latter in fact conceal a steel frame that holds the composition together. The removable upholstery covers are available in a range of decorative fabrics as well as leather. The solid maple legs are lacquered and can be stained black or ash grey. In Singapore, Zanotta is available from W. Atelier.
