Improve your health by riding an e-bike
Experts from the Centre for Exercise, Nutrition and Health Sciences at Bristol University have discovered people with type 2 diabetes typically have symptoms – such as a lack of energy and lethargy – that discourage exercising. A recent study led by Professor Ashley Cooper revealed an e-bike (a standard bicycle with an electric motor) gave participants the confidence to overcome barriers of active travelling and take on more difficult stages of cycling, such as hills. It concluded e-cycling could increase the fitness of people with type 2.
