THE WARM-UP

STEP 1

Be sure to wear supportive shoes and comfortabl­e clothing. If available, attach the treadmill’s stop-key tether to your shirt.

Walk on the treadmill for

5-10 minutes at no incline. Choose an easy walking speed that doesn’t tire you out. Slowly increase the speed until you’re breathing harder but can still talk. Slow back down for a minute to catch your breath before starting the circuit.
