CHARRED GREEN SHALLOTS

PREP TIME: 5 MINS COOK TIME: 5 MINS SERVES 6 (AS A SIDE)

2 bunches green shallots (about 20), washed, dried, ends trimmed

1 Preheat a chargrill pan or barbecue plate on medium-high. 2 Add the shallots to the chargrill pan or barbecue.

Cook for 3-4 minutes, turning occasional­ly, until the shallots have softened and blackened slightly. Serve warm.
