1 tsp cumin seeds

1 tsp curry powder or gluten-free

curry powder

2 large cloves garlic, crushed 160g dried brown lentils, rinsed

until water runs clear

750ml (3 cups) salt-reduced vegetable stock or gluten-free stock

500ml (2 cups) water
