Christmas Champagne Cocktail

We won’t tell if you keep the good times going with this one well into New Year…

1 lemon 30ml gin

15ml freshly squeezed lemon juice

15ml elderflowe­r liqueur

2 dashes Angostura orange bitters

Champagne, to top up

Peel a strip of lemon and trim it to be quite skinny. Put the gin, lemon juice and liqueur in a Champagne glass. Add the bitters and top with Champagne. Serve garnished with the lemon peel. SERVES 1
