Pear Sticky Date Pudding
Dates are a natural source of sweetness, making them a healthier alternative to refined sugars. Dates are rich in fibre and have a low glycaemic index, which means they have a slower impact on blood-sugar levels compared to other sweeteners. Dates are also a good source of non-heme iron, which is especially important for individuals who follow a vegetarian or vegan diet and need to ensure adequate iron intake.
