Michael Willis Dragonfly Reverbs

Available as installer downloads via GitHub, this opensource pair of plugins is comprehensive and creative too, offering parameters like Diffuse, Spin and Wander. The two reverbs are Dragonfly Hall Reverb and Dragonfly Room Reverb, with each housing 25 algorithms made with Teru Kamogashira’s Freeverb3, an open-source impulse response processor.

You get two incredibly versatile reverbs, with enough algorithms to work on any source, and plenty of parameters to increase the effect or dial it back. The onboard spectrograph also gives you a good idea of the sound profile you’re dialling in.

While at first it seems strange to package these two as separate Room and Hall plugins, it makes sense based on their unique talents. Controls between the two aren’t hugely different, but both are essential downloads. github.com/michaelwillis VERDICT 8.9
