Do go chasing waterfalls

Walk off the wine and food with a ramble through Mt Field National Park, an hour west of New Norfolk in the Derwent Valley. It’s an easy stroll to the stunning Russell Falls, or venture a little further in for a more ambitious day walk. On your return, visit Lawrenny Estate, which produces one of the world’s very few ‘paddock to bottle’ single malt whiskies with barley from the estate, distilled with pure water that flows through the property. Established in the 1800s, the estate has been restored to its former glory by the current owners, who are also distilling an impressive gin selection.
