TASTE OF THE TROPICS

Food festival Taste Port Douglas is returning this October following a fouryear hiatus. Ben Williamson (Agnes), Alanna Sapwell (Esmay and Arc Dining) and Laura Sharrad (Fugazzi Bar & Dining) will all hit the pans for events across the four-day festival. The tropical Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort will host long lunches, cooking demonstrations and special dinners to help reignite the region’s food, drink and travel industry. Following the festival, Melbourne, Sydney and the Gold Coast will host satellite events in the summer months. October 7-10, 2021, tasteportdouglas.com.au
