85% cabernet sauvignon, 8% merlot, 5% cabernet franc 2% other varieties, stainless steel open fermenters, 10 days on skins, 15 months maturation in neutral oak barrels. Bright, deep crimson; has that lightness of foot that was widespread across McLaren Vale courtesy of the cool vintage and 14% alcohol. The chocolate-tipped dark berry flavours sing in the mouth, and will do so for decades to come. 14% alc.
