70% shiraz, 25% mourvedre, and 5% grenache. Sourced primarily from the Sellicks Hill Vineyard, 18 months in French hogsheads, 30% new. Only medium-bodied but ripples with flavour. Blood plum, blackberry and cocoa are there, with briary and earthy notes as well. The tannin is firm and needs to soften a little, but it provides the right framework. SC 14% alc.
