The stipulated differences between this and 3 Devils are 30% new French oak (versus none) and 18 months in oak (not 10). Equally important, however, is the superior quality of the fruit here. This is medium to full-bodied, with an abundance of cool-climate spice, pepper and liquorice to accompany the rich fruit and carefully calibrated tannins. This is the real deal from Mount Barker. 14.5% alc.
