Hand-picked, part crushed, part whole berry and 10% whole bunches, matured for 22 months in French oak (35% new). An attractive medium-bodied wine; multi-spice, pepper and cedary oak notes are all woven through juicy cherry and plum fruit, which is flavour – emphatically not sugar – sweet. The texture and mouthfeel are excellent, the wine caressing the mouth onto the long finish and aftertaste. 14.4% alc.
