What can you tell us about this blend?
This is a very special wine, entirely from the original Deep Woods vineyard and coming from, in my opinion, the best vintage this decade. It’s a blend of cabernet sauvignon, merlot, cabernet franc and malbec in the exact proportions from this amazing site. Made in tiny amounts, it’s floral, blue-fruited and complex on the nose, and the palate unfurls into a riot of brambly fruit flavour, while the tannins are as equally silky as they are effortless.
