91.6% cabernet sauvignon, the balance merlot and petit verdot. Matured for 15 months in a mix of new and older French hogsheads. A dense sort of bouquet at this stage, comprised of black fruits with a cedary oak presence and some earthy/gamey characters. Deep, dark flavours saturate the palate and linger on the finish, but are yet to fully reveal themselves. 14.3% alc.
