What do you believe sets this wine apart?
This wine has been made every vintage since 1972, and the 2017 is a modern incarnation of the Margaret River region’s very first cabernet. Created from our powerful premier sections of Wilyabrup cabernet, these parcels are individually wild fermented to express the depth and complexity of their site. Made in a cooler and later vintage, this is a lighter-bodied, elegant and incredibly perfumed wine. Presenting incredible volume of vibrant fruit immediately, it slowly tapers to a long, dry and fine finish.
