What do you believe sets this wine apart?
We planted montepulciano on our Williamstown vineyard in 2011, and this Italian varietal has thrived and seems very suited to the soil and aspect. The quality of this wine is determined in the vineyard, with vine balance super critical. The 2018 vintage was exceptional, and this wine reflects this with a combination of primary fruit, concentration and plentiful ripe tannin.
