What do you believe sets this wine apart?
The 5% riesling skins give this blend a searing line of acidity and intensity of tannin that drives all the subsequent flavours. To me, riesling is the perfect counterbalance to the compact core of concentrated black fruits that is always McLaren Vale shiraz. What I love about this style is its balanced personality; being both rich and giving, yet tensioned and elegant.
