What do you love most about this style of wine?
Shiraz has many expressions, but my favourite is a gentle cool-climate style, with plum fruit and a touch of cherries, lots of spice on the nose and a hint of white pepper at the end, but these styles are never dominated by pepper. Plum flavours and soft tannins add elegance and luscious texture to this well-balanced wine, which will age for 30 years. 2018 was a lovely vintage.
