From estate vineyards planted in 1972 on sand over clay soils in an east-west row orientation. Destemmed as whole berries to open fermenters, 14 days on skins, each batch matured separately in new and used French oak for 18 months, every barrel tasted for selection. This borders on outright elegance, balance and length also gaining points, the fruits a blackberry/blueberry mix. A very good regional wine. 14.5% alc.
