What do you aim to capture in this wine?
Hutton Vale Farm shiraz has always aimed to be gracefully authoritative. The fruit quality is in the fore and oak only complements this wine in the very background. The wine has elegance and structure and without a hint of clumsiness. This wine is made from fruit grown from cuttings planted by my grandfather from the Mount Edelstone vineyard, which his father planted in 1912.
