How important is vineyard site when it comes to this wine?
Our 2018 Western Slopes Shiraz is sourced from an isolated west-facing parcel of land on our own 55-year-old historic Brokenback Vineyard. These old vines yield less than one tonne of grapes per acre, producing a lovely concentration of fruit that sits slightly more powerful and masculine on a polished palate. It has a cellaring potential of 15-plus years.
