What do you love most about this style of wine?

I have been working with shiraz in the Yarra Valley since 1997, and I love the spicy, elegant, silky expression we have become known for. Taking inspiration from the Northern Rhone Valley, as well as Yarra Yering’s Red Wine Number 2, cofermentation with viognier started in 1999, which, at around a 3 per cent addition, brings out the combined beauty of spice, elegance and length.
