Celebrating 40 vintages in 2021, Elderton Wines is a small, family owned and operated winery. The Elderton vineyard, planted in 1894, was purchased by the Ashmead family in 1980 and the second generation is now proud custodians of three vineyards. Our winemaking team works closely with our viticulturalists to produce quality fruit with a focus on longterm sustainable production, low irrigation and minimal inputs. Elderton’s cellar door is our former family homestead, and we welcome visitors to experience our Barossa lifestyle.
