2019 FORESTER ESTATE JACK OUT THE BOX MARGARET RIVER SEMILLON

A third of the blend was kept on skins for 2 weeks while wild ferment was underway. Matured in French oak for 6 months (17% new). Savoury, spicy and salty, a salsa verde mouthful of coriander, gooseberry, green jalapeño, fennel flower and sea celery. The oak is seamlessly embossed into the fruit, speaking volumes about the concentration of the fruit. Briney acidity courses through it all. It's a compelling wine. EL 12.5% alc.
