2018 TRIFON ESTATE LAGOON VIEW RIESLING TRAMINER

A blast from the past. The popularity of off-dry riesling traminer, so popular in the ‘70s and ‘80s, has waned. Good to see one producer keeping true and producing such a super-food-friendly style. The arresting scent of spring wildflowers, musky florals, potpourri, lime and spice. Exuberantly aromatic and light as a feather on the palate with lifted apple, citrus and kitchen spice. The sweetness level is well and truly balanced by brisk acidity. Nice job. JP 12% alc.
