2019 CHAIN OF PONDS CORKSCREW ROAD SINGLE VINEYARD ADELAIDE HILLS CHARDONNAY

A single-vineyard iteration (Kuitpo) that has been given the full array of contemporary chardonnay tools – whole-bunch pressed, barrel fermented with both wild and innoculated yeast, matured for 10 months, 6 of those on lees and stirred. All this adds up to a creamy style, more notes of orange than sharper citrus, with some roasted cashew as well. Happy days. TL 13.7% alc.
