2019 DRIFTWOOD ESTATE SINGLE SITE MARGARET RIVER CHARDONNAY

This is one of ‘those’ wines. The blindsiding wines, that take you by surprise and imprint big on your memory. While the oak is playing a significant role right now, it pales in comparison to the concentrated fruit that lingers behind it. Yellow peach, curry leaf, red apple skins and salty acidity that courses through the very heart of the wine. 2019 was a cooler year, and is one to watch. Wines like this show why. EL 13% alc.
