2019 LANDAIRE PADTHAWAY CHARDONNAY

This is one of those wines that defies its location: it’s a finer rendition to many others in the region. Then again, Pete Bissell (ex-Balnaves) made this. Still young, but he recently retired and so this is his last chardonnay for Landaire. What a fitting send off. It’s refined, elegant, a mix of white stone fruit, citrus and all lightly spiced. The palate is supple, soft, textural and delicious. JF 12% alc.
