This vintage seems to mark a stylistic change at this tier. Exceptional value. Orchard and stone fruits expand across a creamy core of toasted nuts and vanilla-pod oak scents, impeccably handled. Some leesy mineral inflection, too. Yet this is winning because of its unashamed generosity of flavour, somehow restrained by the oak and energy. NG 13% alc.
