A shapely and powerful wine, cruising into older age rather well. Excellent colour for starters, savoury fragrance, with wafts of leather and potpourri. The full-bodied palate is being served well by its tannins – still plentiful. Another decade to go on this. Easily. JF 13.5% alc.
