Fascinating how these individual vineyard iterations ebb and flow in such expert hands. This feels like the Hunter of my youth: sarsaparilla, varnish, molten cherry, anise, polished leather and something saddle-bound and rustic. Yet clean. Savoury. Relaxed. Of a place. Full, according to the alcohol on the label, yet feels mid weighted, with a firm, tannic bind to the food on the table. NG 14% alc.
