Sanguine Estate

HEATHCOTE VICTORIA

-

Sanguine Estate was established long before the Hunter family realised winemaking was in their blood. Their love affair with wine began in Italy in 1868, when Pietro D’Orsa, great-grandfather of owner Tony Hunter, left his village with grape vines in hand to make a new life in Australia. Pietro planted these vines near Maldon, 100km west of Heathcote, where the family planted their vines and established Sanguine Estate over a century later.
