2021 GRANITE HILLS 1971 BLOCK RIESLING
OK. This is another few levels up from the Estate riesling. It’s meant to be significantly different and more complex, as the fruit comes off the 1971 plantings. It’s special with such precision, clarity and length. A burst of lime and lemon freshness and a flutter of spice to follow as it builds across the tightly held palate. A hint of ginger cream, lemon verbena and while the acidity is perky, there’s just a softness on the finish. A lovely, lovely wine. JF 13% alc.
$38 / 2035
