2019 MEDHURST ESTATE CABERNET SAUVIGNON

Made from a single block of clone SA125 cabernet sauvignon along with some young-vine malbec and merlot. 40% new French barriques. A bright crimson purple, with satsuma plum and blackberry leaf aromatics. From what is shaping up as a great vintage for Yarra cabernet, this simply delicious and fleshy wine has fine, approachable tannins and impressive length. Can be enjoyed with confidence now and over the next 10 years. PR 13% alc.
