From the estate vineyard at 460m. Has greater depth and richness than its Eden Springs sibling, but not the same focus. Both are high quality wines, but the balance of this wine effortlessly brings the flavours through to the long palate and lingering aftertaste. High alcohol doesn’t spoil the wine. JH 13% alc.

What is special about this wine?

Our lofty vineyard in the small premium High Eden region is the only one facing east, and as such is shaded from the hot late afternoon sun. This slows down grape ripening, and with the various old vine clones planted adding complexity, results in an aromatic, crisp and intense riesling with remarkable longevity.
