2021 ROSABROOK CHARDONNAY, MARGARET RIVER

Fermentation in seasoned French oak. 2021 was an odd one for Margaret River, with 2 major rain events right before and during harvest that provided some nail-biting times for viticulturists and winemakers. Very delicate flavour profile here, nothing overt or intense – white peach, apple and jasmine tea make up the core of the experience. Length of flavour is there, but it’s quiet, you have to pay attention. Very pretty. EL 12.6% alc.

What makes this wine perfect for drinking all year round?

A modern, fresh style of chardonnay with hints of citrus fruit, a creamy nutty texture and a crisp finish. Tank fermentation has helped retain freshness while seasoned oak barrels have added texture and complexity to the wine. This balance in structure makes it suited to all year round drinking – try pairing it with richer foods during the cooler months or lighter styles of cuisines in spring/summer.
