A bright green gold. Aromas of freshly picked white peach, green mangoes, some star anise and discreetly handled wood that is already well integrated. This has real drive on the palate, with flavours of nectarine and grapefruit pith. Finishes chalky and long. An excellent expression of Yarra chardonnay that will reward at least another 5 years, if not more, in the cellar. PR 13% alc.

What is special about this wine?

This wine is a special blend of two vineyards. One a warmer, north-west facing slope and the other cooler, southerly facing. The warmer provides the riper, powerful fruit profile and the cooler the stunning, focused acidity and the savoury complexity.
